Frequently Asked Questions

What are your rates for Canada?
Our systems use double leg calling to connect a caller to you live when they dial into your system.  The first leg of a call occurs when the caller dials into your toll free number and the second leg of the call happens when your system dials out to the forwarding number you have specified. Because of this, and the fact that we have different toll free rates for Canada, calls that have at least one leg using a Canadian number cannot be wholly applied to any minutes that you have already included in your plan.

The rates for Canada are as follows:

Calls coming into the toll free number that originate in Canada and are not connected live are not subtracted from minutes already included with the plan.  They are billed separately at 6.9 cents per minute.

Calls that originate in Canada that are then connected to a local US number are not subtracted from minutes already included with the plan.  They are billed separately at 6.9 cents per minute.

Calls originating in Canada that are then forwarded and connected to a Canadian local number are not subtracted from included plan minutes.  They are billed at 11.3 cents per minute.

Calls that originate in the US and are then forwarded to a local Canadian number will use some of the plan's included minutes.  The inbound US call is subtracted from already included plan minutes.  The Canadian leg of the call is billed at 4.4 cents per minute.
