Call HuntingEach extension on your Freedom800® system can be configured to forward calls to one or more telephone numbers. Whether you or your staff is at home, in the office, or on the road, your Freedom800® toll free number can automatically try each forwarding number to make the connection.
Call ScreeningCall screening allows you to be more productive by choosing which calls you want to answer. When you answer a Freedom800® forwarded call, you'll have the option to accept or reject the call before being connected. Callers remain on hold, with music, while you decide what to do with the call.
Call AnnounceCall announce allows you to label extensions so when you pick up a call, you'll know which extension the call is coming from. Easily answer multiple extensions from a single phone while still being able to tell which extension the caller dialed.
For example, if you create an extension for "Sales" and another for "Support", you'll know which option the caller dialed before you answer the call.
Call WhisperCall whisper prompts your callers to say their name before we connect the call.
For example: "To tell your party who's calling, please say your name after the tone and press any key when finished."
Then when you pick up the phone, you will hear a recording that says: "You have a call from John Smith, dial any key to accept this call."
You can then choose to take the call or send the caller to voicemail where they can leave you a message.
Call TransferTransfer callers between extensions or even to other phone numbers seamlessly.
For example, a call forwarded to your mobile phone can be put on-hold with hold music and transferred to a totally separate phone number. Callers will never know you're not in the office.
Call DistributionControl how calls get forwarded through advanced call distribution rules. Forward calls to individual numbers sequentially or create a group and forward calls on a rotation or simultaneously.
Grouping numbers helps you organize by department or role. For example, create a sales group to distribute sales calls on a rotation and a support group to distribute calls simultaneously.
Call RotationWith our call distribution rules, you can rotate through each member of the group, with each new forwarded call picking up where the previous call left off in the rotation rather than starting over at the top of the list.
Simultaneous ForwardWith our call distribution rules, you can forward calls to all members of the group at the same time. The first member to answer the call will receive it. Groups using this method are limited to a maximum of fifteen (15) members.
Caller ID DisplayYou can choose to have forwarded calls show as your Freedom800® toll free number or as caller's telephone number. Choosing which number is displayed is easily configurable through our online control panel.
You will need Caller ID enabled on the phone you're receiving calls on to see the Caller ID information that we pass to you.
Unlimited MailboxesYou have access to unlimited voice mailboxes, each with it's own extension and customizable outbound recording.

Email DeliveryHave your voicemail messages and faxes delivered to one or multiple email addresses. Voicemails are converted to WAV or MP3 audio files and sent via email. You can even have faxes delivered as PDF attachments so you can listen to your voicemails and view faxes no matter where you are.
File CompressionUsed in conjunction with email message delivery, you can opt to zip your voice and/or fax messages before their sent. This helps lower file sizes which is more friendly for some email services.
In addition, you can enhance security by password protecting the compressed file so unauthorized peole can't easily open your message attachment.
Cloud Message StorageAll voicemails and faxes can be stored on your Freedom800® account for a maximum of 90 days.
You can choose to save messages online or download messages to your computer and archive them for as long as you like. Additionally with email delivery, you can forward all your messages as an attachment and store them in your mail box.
Custom RecordingsWe offer professionally recorded generic messages that have been pre-loaded for your convenience but you can easily re-record over any existing message to create custom auto attendant and voicemail recordings of any length. Create the exact message you want for your business quickly and easily.
Q&A VoicemailQuestion and Answer Voicemail allows you to create a series of questions for your callers to answer. The answers are compiled together and sent to voicemail. Great for 24/7 order taking or pre qualifying customers.
Example: "Say your name and press any key when finished". Caller says name and presses a key. Next question will be played, "Please say your email address and press any key when finished", etc.
Automated Number RoutingAutomatically route incoming calls based on the caller's phone number or the phone number they dialed to reach you. Choose to forward calls to a specific extension, send the call to voicemail, reject the call or receive a fax. Take full advantage of this powerful feature by adding additional toll free numbers to your account to easily manage separate call paths for each number right from your online control panel.
Availability SchedulingChoose when calls are forwarded to you. No need to log in and out of your system throughout the day. Simply configure the system to route your calls based on the time of day and day of the week for each number in your forwarding list.
Schedule in lunch hours and do not disturb time when you're not available. If unavailable, your calls can be directed to voicemail so you can follow up at a later time.
Unlimited ExtensionsYou have access to an unlimited number of extensions allowing you to create departments (i.e. press 1 for Sales, 2 for Billing) and/or employee extensions (i.e. dial 805 for Rick). Each extension comes with it's own forwarding settings and customizable voicemail and notification settings.

Call QueuingDuring peak business hours, you may not be able to answer every forwarded call. Rather than sending these calls to voicemail, keep your callers on the line listening to hold music while we continue to try to reach you. You can configure the maximum hold time, whether callers are told their position in the queue, and whether you hear an indicator on your live calls when another caller enters your call queue.
Voice On-DemandCreate an unlimited branch of extensions for informational recordings and fax-on-demand documents. It's a great way to automatically inform your callers about products, services and just about anything else you can think of. Share Voice MessagesAny voice message on your Freedom800® system can be broadcasted to people you know or to business associates by telephone.
In your account control panel you can select any message and choose to broadcast that message to multiple phone numbers (limit 5). An outbound call will be placed to each phone number entered and will play your message automatically when answered.
Click-to-CallEnhance your online business by integrating it with your Freedom800® toll free number. Our click-to-call feature allows you to insert some simple HTML code into your web page to give your visitors a convenient way to connect with you. All your visitors have to do is enter their phone number and your Freedom800® system will automatically call them.
Great for capturing online leads, increasing sales, improving customer service and tracking sales efforts.
Receive FaxesYour toll free number doubles as a fax line, allowing you to receive faxes at the exact same number. Your toll free number will automatically detect an incoming fax tone and convert the line to accept the incoming fax.
You can choose to have the fax delivered via email as a PDF or forwarded to a physical fax machine. And to make it secure, faxes can be stored via our secure online control panel instead of emailed.
